Operational transformation
One complete operation, not one task.
We redesign one whole process, from the first handoff to the last, across people and systems, then run it with you until your owners take over.
What one program covers
- PeopleRoles, decision rights, how work changes
- ProcessThe real path, including waiting and rework
- DecisionsRules, AI or an accountable person
- InformationThe records and evidence each step needs
- SystemsYour ERP, CDE and portals, connected; not replaced by default
- ExceptionsRouted to an owner with context
Five stages, not one big bet
Diagnose
Map the process, owners, systems and today’s performance.
Redesign
Define the target process and who decides what: rules, AI or people.
Prove
Test one hard case, including what fails.
Integrate
Connect systems with monitoring, limits and rollback.
Operate
Train people, release by scope, review results against the baseline.
Who brings what
You provide
- A sponsor
- A process owner
- Access to systems and data
- People who can change how work is done
Our team provides
- Andy de Wit, leading the program
- Specialists committed to your program
- Results against your baseline at every gate
- A handover plan with named owners
When is an external partner justified?
Often it is not. If your existing systems or a packaged tool can do the task, that is usually cheaper and simpler. Microsoft’s agent guidance agrees: rule-bound, repeatable tasks suit regular code. A partner makes sense when the problem is the operation itself, not one task.
Three routes compared
| Internal delivery | Packaged tool | External redesign partner | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | Capability you want to own long-term | A standard process that fits the product | A cross-team problem needing redesign, integration and adoption together |
| Typical risk | Competes with daily operations | Fits the product’s process, not yours | Dependency, handover quality, cost |
Signs you need a partner
- The cost sits between teams and systems, not inside one tool.
- Several owners must agree on new decision rights, and nobody inside has the mandate or time.
Signs you do not need one
- A small standalone automation would solve it.
- No one can approve changes to how work is done.
What Sembium offers
Value is measured against your own baseline, set in diagnosis, never promised up front. Andy de Wit leads every program, with specialists committed per program. We work inside the ERP, CDE and portals you already run, and your people own the process, rules and documentation at handover.
